L’Artisan Jurassic Triceratops Edition

The L’Artisan Jurassic Triceratops Edition is a rare expression of time, history, and independent watchmaking. Built around a genuine Triceratops bone dial, this extraordinary piece carries a material that dates back approximately 66 to 68 million years, from the Late Cretaceous period.

Sourced from the Hell Creek Formation in Montana, USA — one of the most famous dinosaur fossil regions in the world — the dial was once part of a living Triceratops, one of the last dinosaurs to walk the Earth. Over millions of years, the organic material fossilized into stone, creating a rich natural texture with patterns that can never be repeated.

Each dial is completely unique, shaped by nature and preserved through time. The fossil surface is elevated with applied Breguet numerals and an applied minute track, creating a refined contrast between ancient material and classical watchmaking details.

Housed in a 38 mm stainless steel case and powered by the HZ5000A micro-rotor automatic movement, the Jurassic Triceratops Edition offers a slim, elegant profile with modern mechanical performance. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the movement inside.

Finished with a brown leather strap and L’Artisan signed buckle, this watch is more than a timepiece — it is a fragment of prehistoric history, reimagined for the wrist through craftsmanship, patience, and precision.
